I am a musician. I also typed "blood and snow" in the browser. I am located at bandcamp and understand the creative commons process. I'm at denisehudson.bandcamp.com
the song will be at
http://denisehudson.bandcamp.com/track/mistakes-were-made-2

I assume this means that I am free to go ahead and use your image, which is the third photo with caption underneath "There, into the forest."
I will link to your site, this specific page, and say your name. if you would like me to take the work down it will come down immediately.

Thanks for your art. It's beautiful.

Hi Christabelle, I am a writer from Queensland in Australia and I found your site because I typed 'blood and snow' into Google and the reason I did that was because I wanted an image showing blood on snow for my latest book, which is a murder mystery set in the Antarctic. I would like to ask permission to use your image on my cover, also would it be possible to get a copy of the original photo as the image on your site is too low-res (according to my graphic designer son). If you allow it, I will acknowledge you in the book and send you a copy. I self-publish my work and sell at markets here in south east Queensland, so I do everything myself (with a bit of help from my son) and try to make my money back for the printing. You are a creative person yourself, so you will appreciate that it is the creative process that is the important thing and hopefully giving other people pleasure along the way

I enjoyed that. Not only was the story intriguing, but the photos and those wonderful wintery scenes that we never get here just pulled me in further. More please !! Could you do a photo version of that poem you read out the other week ? That would be a real challenge and highly entertaining visually !!
