I bought a Raynox M-250 clip-on lens for my Canon Powershot S2IS so I could experiment with close-up nature photos - works a treat but sometimes it's just too powerful and I have to use the built-in macro/super-macro instead :-P It's amazing to view the world close up, some simple things look so completely different up close. I put a couple of (reduced) test photos of a tiny plant in a small clump of moss on my MySpace page that I took when I first got the lens it to see what it could do (I think this was at it's highest magnification but I can't remember). It's certainly a lot better than my extension tube set on my old Pentax film camera! LOL Nice photo – how did you get the black background?
